Visit Canberra

Canberra is a true bush Capital. It was established in 1913 as a purpose built capital for the nation and is now a busy, modern cosmopolitan city placed within a delightful bush and garden environment. It has a very active and vibrant arts scene, excellent theatre and musical facilities and great food, shopping and entertainment. There is much to do, including visits to scenic outdoor areas, wineries, museums and art galleries.  Many of the great national institutions are located in Canberra including the Parliament of Australia, the National Library of Australia, the National Museum of Australia, the Australian War Memorial and the National Archives of Australia.
